As AuroraMC gets closer and closer to being ready for testing, we will be looking to recruit some voluntary builders to help us create maps for the planned games and lobbies.
Who are we?
We're just a group of gamers with a passion for making great things and making a community people want to be a part of. AuroraMC has been a passion project of ours and has been in development for over 2 years. While it's taking us a while, we're super excited to share what we've been working on, and we hope you all are too!
Why should you join?
To begin with, if you were to join our Build Team prior to the public release of AuroraMC, you would receive a special invite to test the upcoming features and games that we plan to offer. Alongside that, you will be able to directly give feedback and ideas on what our map guidelines should be like, and potentially make a difference in how maps are created in the future.
Furthermore, provided the gameplay and aesthetics on your maps are adequate and all issues are handled before the official release of the network, we can guarantee that you will have at least 1 map for each game you choose to create one for. This does not include lobby maps, as the lobby maps are likely only going to be updated during holiday seasons or when the lobby receives a huge revamp.
Requirements
As will be with any of our voluntary positions here on AuroraMC, we have some requirements that you will need to meet before submitting an application to join our Build Team.
Please note that these requirements are only applicable prior to the official release of our network. Upon the network being released, these requirements will be revisited and updated to be consistent with the rest of our voluntary team requirements.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Have at least 3-5 recently created builds in your portfolio
- Have at least 6 months of experience working on Minecraft Maps
