We are excited that you would like to become a Junior Moderator. In order to ensure that our staff provide the best experience to our users, we can only accept individuals who clearly represent our core values, are mature and are willing and able to provide excellent customer service. As a result, we have a number of of requirements that applications to our Junior Moderator Programme must meet.
Junior Moderators are the lowest staff rank on our network. Their primary role is to help players across the network; in-game, on the forums, and
all of our other platforms. It is also their job to help protect our community from rule-breakers of all kinds. Whilst you are a Junior Moderator, we are
training you up to become a fully fledged AuroraMC Moderator. This means that whilst you are a Junior Moderator, you will be in daily communication with
your supervisor who will be guiding you along the path to becoming a Moderator. During the time that you are a Junior Moderator, you will be constantly
watched to ensure that you are progressing and eventually identify when you are able to become a full Moderator. There is no set timeline for this.
You could obtain your full moderator badge in weeks or months.
Being a Junior Moderator isn't all about the work though. At AuroraMC, we believe in ensuring that our staff feel valued and rewarded for the time
they spend on our network. This means that we often have staff exclusive events, giveaways, competitions, and more.
Sounds great, how do I become on of these Junior Moderators?
We're so happy you asked! We have a number of requirements for becoming a Junior Moderator to ensure that our user experience and customer
service is the best it can be. As a result, in order to become a Junior Moderator, you must:
Once we've received your application, our team will read over it and complete initial checks. These are pretty basic checks and essentially check that
you meet the requirements and that your application is sufficient to warrant further checks. Once this is done, we will read your application more thoroughly and begin
more advanced checks. The exact details of these checks are confidential and will not be shared with the public, however, you will be able to view a list of rejection
reasons here. The basic idea of these checks is to ensure that you are being honest with us, and
ensure you would be a good fit for the network. If after all of this we are still happy with you as an applicant, we will invite you to a personal meeting
with at least one member of our team. This will be to discuss your application further and get to know you as a person more. These meetings are
conducted on Discord using a microphone.. In order to be accepted as a Junior Moderator, it is mandatory for this meeting to take place in this format.
An interview over text will not suffice. After the meeting the team will discuss your application further with each other and a final decision as to the outcome
of it will be made. If we are still happy, congratulations! You're officially an AuroraMC Junior Moderator.
If everything you have read above hasn't put your off joining our team, then please be sure to apply! We wish you the best of luck with your application!
